They wake up in the small town of Harper's ferry and wander about. A sniper in an airship-refueling tower draws them towards an encounter with 4 Russian visitors from another time. Holmes flies the top of the tower into a cornfield, and they take the Russians back into the train tunnel, from which they emerge in New York, 1924.
