I.
That's me.
RPGs
Role-playing games, the thing I do in my life other than just living, are a bitch to document. Games usually do not survive the translation into another medium and another mindset, as they tend to be so precisely tailored to the mood of the participants at the moment of playing. That is not a reason not to try - and wikis seem to hold a lot of promise:
- Brotherhood - my family game, with my three half-brothers, D&D based fantasy, in Hebrew
- Supernova - a game loosely based on Nobilis, also in Hebrew
- Smith & Jones, Shadow of my Cat - a Vampire: the Masquerade based game, in English - the game reached its conclusion after 13 sessions, but the wiki is not yet complete. Probably never will be. Maybe that's the point of keeping it in a wiki.
- Gods & Guardians - same cast as Smith & Jones, sans Cat, and with Smith running the game. We are still smoothing the rough edges on this one. Some of it is very cool, some of it uncool on an almost personal level.
Other cool stuff I was involved in:
MeDeaEx_, and interactive, virtual, cybernetic theatrical show, with Neora and Nimrod. Motek medical, a virtual reality system for medical research and rehabilitation. wikimiflaga, an attempt at an online, wiki driven political party (went online a couple of days before Jimbo Wales - of wikipedia fame - opened his version) with Ram-On. Art Class at Kalisher, where I teach art students that technology can be pwned in the service of their art. ABOSH Annotated, three friends trying to annotate Bialik's classic Maquama - boy I should get back to that.
Stuff I read:
- Brache Goleshet, the blog that covers everything important.
- Dim's Blog, which is a good read, even if he is not running you game.
- Bo's Blog, which is a good read, even if he is running you game. Also he is corky, on which most of the other sites linked on this page reside.
