Got taken over by the [[Sabbat]] as part of the [[fin de siècle]] "celebrations". Was taken back by the [[Camarilla]] in what is now known as [[99' NYC take-over|The 99' NYC take-over]].

Clan [[Tremere]] played the most important role in retaking the city, and were rewarded with the [[Prince|Princehood]]. Thus ascended Prince [[Arafel]].
History, secret or otherwise, still did not recognize the important role [[Martha Pool]] had with the entire move. Maybe in the future it will.

[[Magenta Jones|Magenta]] relocated from Boston along with [[Primogen O'Hara]]'s staff, to strengthen the Camarilla's hold on the domain, and [[Smith]] followed her, because hey, [[New York]].

It is considered the fastest developing camarilla domain, to which many claim responsibility.
