July 30rd, 2009 updatesThree years and a mini endgame campaign sure bring a lot of wrap-ups. So, here's what we have:
Ah, yes. And we actually finished the campaign, too :) I suppose this is the last update this site will ever see, so I thank you all for taking a part in making this fantastic game. May no future fun be less so!
July 22nd, 2006 updatesAfter we finally got Sasha in the char page, I'm not taking her off just 'cause she's away. Lucia will have to wait until she gets her dossier back. But, we have sessions 38-39-40-41 online, music and mean remarks and all. Many things must have slipped my memory as it's been so long, so if I forgot anything crucial, make sure you remind me or it goes down the drain. Oh, and to whomever manages to just go through this place: Yannet Brown, the all-powerful iron-maiden kickass-vampire-commander-from-hell has just been punched in the face by Ethan Lockly. Generations of well-sufferred players salute you, Ethan. See you all next week.
May 30th, 2006 updatesOoh, so many updates!
K, That's it. Kill the dragons so I can get to the cool part B already!
April 29th, 2006 updatesSessions 34-35 online. Veruca and puppy drawing in the gallery (not fanart100).April 16th, 2006 updatesSession 32-33 are online. Also new stuff in fanart. No time, got alternative SEDDER coming in 5 minutes.April 7th, 2006 updatesSession 32 online.Fanart100 has Heart and Children on. We also have a more-fitting Lucia model. Yay. March 16th, 2006 updatesSessions 30-31 are online and the Tunes page has been accordingly updated, although I can't remember what music was used in songs 45,46. If anyone remembers, feel free to refresh my memory. As for Fanart100, we've completed 30 drawings! 70 more to go. We finally have an alternative Purple. This one was jinxed - some would say the recend death wave was a result of that. It was nominated "evil purple spirit" but now that it's gone I'm hoping people will stop dying. In light of Cornucopia's army's latest appearance, we also have Not Enough. Life goes on.
Jan. 23th. 2006 updatesSessions 28-29 are online. The Tunes page has not been updated, as I can't remember what music was used in the session. Am still working on that. Also - three new paintings in Fanart100, featuring Green, Red and Weeks. 89 more to go. Jan. 9th. 2006 updatesSessions 26-27 are now online (I'll link to the music later, although the songs are already listed in the Tunes page). Also, I'd check the Fanart100 page if I were you. There are two new paintings - Insides (which you actually know already) and Hours. 93 more to go, and ideas for Weeks are MORE than bloody welcome. Dec. 31, 2005 updatesNo, session 26 isn't online. But we have Fanart100. It's cool. 96 more to go.- Aya, 05:56 Am, 31.12.05. Damn this winter. No sunrise in sight. Dec. 24 2005 updatesSession 25 is now online.Dec. 21, 2005 updatesAnother new painting. Feel like painting with no good ideas. Feel free to email me some (esp. Goz and Avshi, whose characters are the least represented in our Art department). And FUCKING COMMENT!Dec. 20, 2005 updatesAm sick. Is my excuse for over-updating.In any case, new painting. Dec. 19, 2005 updatesBacktracking time! We now have entries and pictures for Harrold, Calendar and Monroe (in addition to Hex and Glover, which were added two days ago).Dec. 17, 2005 updatesSessions 23-24 are online. Music too, yada yada. Also some new NPCs, just because I wanted more testosterone in that department. Finally and thanks to the one and only Ygg, I hereby present you with the Rosetta Lexicon! My own, my precious! It's dead ugly, but hey - one shouldn't complain, once achieving the only decent way to store a whole campaign's information. It's still a baby, so treat it nicely. Next campaign will be all Wiki, I promise. Since it contains everything the players should'nt know, the link is password-locked in the Earth section.
Dec. 2, 2005 updatesSession 22 is online. Also, if you check the Story section, you'll notice I unlocked the Prelude section. It was written around session 3, but since I figured you know everything in it by now, you might as well have access to it.Dec. 3 Update: Since Ohad stated that there was no new visual art, I added this, and this (which was just lying in the sketchbook August). Nov. 26, 2005 updatesWe have a Rosetta Lexicon in the making. The GM/Site manager is very excited. Sessions 18, 19, 20, 21 are online. Greta finally got an NPC entry, as did Heidenssen and Noor. The music page has been updated, and we have a short story, regarding the end of session 18, in the art section. Also, your char sheets have finally all been updated with the Rosetta Prime title, and with your birthdays. In addition, bear in mind that we have a wiki lexicon of the game in the making, which:
Oct. 24, 2005 updatesSession 17 is online.Oct. 18, 2005 NewsSession 16 is online. Chris' Arab picture in the Party section has finally been replaced with his current face, whereas the Others page (AKA NPCs) has been updated accordingly (Moonheart, Janet's final face, And the ex-Chris in the 1913 section).Oct. 13, 2005 (Yom Kippur!) NewsSession 15 is online, and the Tunes page has been updated accordingly. Ta.Sept. 23, 2005 NewsSo much POL to do, so little time... Well, the music section has been updated, as was the Story section, accordingly (with links and all). Also, we finally have the major NPCs of this part of the campaign in the Others section (Yes, Hassan looks like Rutger Hauer, want to make something of it?!). If any of you people desires XP, find me a better Burrows. I'm just too damn tired to go on looking. Ta.Sept. 21, 2005 NewsSome updates in the NPC section (evasivly labeled "Others"), painting of Lue and Marious in Scorsbeysund, session 14 is online, and something HAS to be done about the music section. It sucks.Sept. 17, 2005 NewsSession 13 is online. The board wishes to express its thanks to Ohad for succumbing to massive POL, and to the rest of the party members for waiting up until he came back. The only locked painting in the Art section has been unlocked, as now everybody knows who is Lucille's former lover. Welcome to the real world. Aug 14. 2005Session 9 has been updated. Also, the Tunes section is finally active. Again, any by-passer who wants the password is welcome to email me and ask for it. belvane at gmail dot com. I hope the art section will be up soon. See you next week, - A.Aug. 12, 2005: Official Site Airing!Major, major update! many cool things, the whole prelude and mechanics, vharacter sheets and whatnots. It's a pity the players can't share that joy, isn't it? All you people who have the password, please hang about; take a peak at the char-cheets (aren't they cute?), and if you're the type, take a few moments to read the "Earth" section, which presents the main idea behind this game. Also - a "prelude" section was added just before the oh-so-scaringly-long-and-uninteresting-to-non-players "Story" section, and this Prelude is actually woth a reading. For your convenience, all the hidden text in this site is colored light blue, to make it stand out. The former, tedious articles have been disposed of. Sit back, read, and please email me what you think. The Music and Art sections are still empty, but there's a limit to what I can achieve in a single night. 02:04 Am, Signing out with a Pol, - A. News! (July 30, 2005)Hallo, players and by-passers. If you miss the usual spalsh page text, it's here (the "Rosetta" page), and will stay there, as this is the News page (you might have noticed that by now). As for actual news, well, the Main Story page usually updats right after the session, as it miraculously did today, too. You can go and read all about Lucille and Alfonso's night of passion. Also, I think session 7's winning quote is "Lucille in the Sky with Diamonds". If you have any better suggestions, as can have an email fight about it. That's it for tonight. Welcome to Rosetta!Rosetta: A tale of four people who wake up with no memory, in coffins, on the train from Cairo to Marrakesh, 1913. They have no recollection of who they are, do not know why the French are out to kill them, and have no inkling as to who to trust. Are they Gods of the past? Champions of the future? GM's punching bag of the present? Only time will tell. The game is defined as a mixture of James Bond, Indiana Jones, Scorpion King, The Bourne Identity, Gabriel Knight, The Egyptian, Sherlock Holmes, Batman, and is highly inspired by various dead campaigns such as Ozymandias, Night Time Stories, Tango Of The Pharaoes, and Kiss This Tentacle; But, all in all, it's mainly a result of what the GM liked best in the last episode of Dr. Who she managed to watch. It should be... fantastic. |
