  * Allfather is worshiped as chief deity of a pagan pantheon.
  * Witchcraft is feared and punishable by death. 
  * Hammer amulets are worn as charms and signs of faith (sacred symbol of Þórr, god of fertility and protector against demons)

  * There is power in the Earth that can be bargained with; demons in the ground, banished there by Thor and the Allfather. It is a fast and flexible source of power, at least in Latveria.
  * The priests of Allfather knows sacred runes. Slower, less flexible, but they don't get you burned for witchcraft.
  * Blood and Fire are very popular in Latverian occult. Seriously.
