החשכה
עולם החשכה מתרחש במציאות בת ימינו, בה רבדים של על טבעי מסתתרים מעין אנוש רגילה. המאבק על המציאות מתקיים בין האור לחושך, כשבעידן הנוכחי האור שולט אחרי תקופה ארוכה בה שלטה החשכה. הדמויות הראשיות הינן שוטרי חשכה - תוצרים נשלטים, על פי שפיטת הגמונית האור, של סיפורים שאין להם מקום במציאות הקאנונית. על פניו משימתם ברורה, לודא שסיפורי חשכה אחרים, כמו אלו מהם הם עצמם צצו וקיבלו את כוחותיהם, לא יתפרצו באופן הרסני ויפגעו בחיי אדם. אולם ככל שהם חוקרים מקרים מורכבים יותר, הם מגלים עולם שלם של אינטרסים אפורים.
הדמויות הראשיות מוצאות את עצמן בלב השינוי המתהווה. לאן יבחרו ללכת? ומה תהיה השלכת בחירותיהם על האנושות והיקום כולם?
