Mexican drug cartel, the involvement of which is implied by the following:
- The odd photos found by Dante on some jerk's phone, showing a dead guy just before he spontaneously flamed out. Documenting execution hits is a known MO for the Mexican drug cartels.
- Those six months in Mexico, from which Zik emerged with a super-valuable power source; things like that you don't buy legally.
It would be very interesting to find out what sort of illegal or borderline legal drugs you can find in Mexico in this world…
