I lust after an Asus eee pc , but I’m wondering how usable it’ll be with its tiny keyboard and tiny screen. What’s it like, browsing the web at a resolution of 800×480?

I’ll tell you, it takes a little getting used to.

The keyboard layout is a little cramped, but it’ll only really bother you if you’re a major touch typist wth large fingers.

It performs really well, at least until I try hacking the kernel a bit and then it gets all complainy and such.

In fact, I’m at a cafe right now, surfing on on wireless via my phone, and watching a tv episode in the background.

If you really want one, as US prices, let me know before mid-April. I’ll try to bring one along.

Another thing – I just tried clicking on your javascript link, and for the first two seconds, didn’t understand why nothing happened. I wonder why. ;)
