Watchmen Buzz and Stuff



Now that the legal issues over the release of the Watchmen movie have been settled, there’s a new official buzz site up for the film called The New Frontiersman, which collects links to stuff posted to flickr, friendfeed, and youtube – all of it artifacts from the world of the movie, like the photo above or this TV broadcast from 1970:

Elsewhere, I missed this Japanese trailer for Watchmen (with more new footage) earlier, until I stumbled across it (through a web search) on a Kuwaiti blog:

And looking for any news of an Israeli release date, I found a Hebrew poster for השומרים, which I actually hope is fake, but which proclaims a 12th March release date.
