Also, looking up powerbocks I find that someone has already suggested applying them to LARPing, although Lore seems to strangely lack the vocabulary to explain why, beyond going “this!!! and this!!! dorkdorkdork!!!”
Yes, I see vid. And showing up to game as an 8ft lupine is neat. But exiting same game by jumping down from the balcony and running away at 30kph, covering several meters with every step, is neater.
Not dorkdork neat. Theater neat. In movies they call this “special effects”, and I hear it’s all the rage these days.
