LISP is 133T

The Contempt Page is a collection of snide and witty quotes and aphorisms about programming languages. It ranges from Zen-like koans to juvenile humor attributed to a toilet graffito at the Technion (!)

A lot of the material comes from Lispers, who apparently have long cultivated an attitude of true eliteness. One of the more interesting of these is Paul Graham, who has an interesting article that explains the history of Lisp, it’s uniqueness and it’s relationship to other languages.

Anyone interested in learning more about Lisp 133tness would probably want to check out the site for the classic/infamous Lisp book Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, which includes the full text of the book online.

You’d think K&R should also be online.
