Charles Stross reports that Gardner Dozois stepped down as editor of Asimov’s SF Magazine and that David Pringle announced he is stepping down as editor of Interzone. He is definately justified in calling it an End of an Era.
Daedalus is a roleplaying e-zine. The editor apparently gave up after two issues, but the two issues he has produced look to be very good. One is on the theme of "Mythic Fantasy", and the other is on the theme of Science Fiction – of particular interest, it has two space-opera settings…

Celestia is a free realtime 3D space simulator that lets you explore the solar system and the galaxy. This is an awesome program! There are various projects to add fictional and imaginary planets to this (there’s a Fading Suns version, for example, and a Ringworld…). Selden’s List of Resources for Celestia is, well, a very comprehensive list of resources related to the program, from Open GL programming manuals, to star catalogs, to world building sites and fractal mapping programs.
