Blog Blog

Blog is a desktop based tool for managing a weblog. It stores everything locally (entries, templates) and uses FTP to upload it. Pretty similar to what Radio UserLand does, except that it looks like it uses a VB GUI rather than a browser-based one.

Using Mozblog has given me a taste for editing in a Desktop app. But Blog is a stand-alone application, and what I’m looking for right now is something that works with Movable Type, preferably with the MetaWeblog API.

Joel complains that SpamAssassin‘s openness gives spammers detailed explanations of how to work around it.
True,
but it also gives it’s users detailed explanations of how to tighten or loosen
their filtering to correct for messages incorrectly being flagged (or not
being flagged) as spam.

We don’t need No steenkin’ HTMLEntities

A Hebrew article about blogs: îîá”à áøùú. The title will probably get scrambled, because I can’t get NoHTMLEntities to work in MovableType. But apparently someone can…

Damn. looks like posting unscrambled Hebrew works in Explorer but not
in Mozilla. I should check this further… Haven’t used Explorer in a while,
and I wouldn’t care to go back.

Or perhaps the NoHTMLEntities tag just took some time to pick up speed?

ÔÑÔ ààáÔ çæê âÑèÙê ÛÐß…

No. Fuck.

ØçáØ ÞÐçáäÜÕèè ÜÐ âÕÑè ÔÞèÔ, ØçáØ ÞÞÕÖÙÜÔ Ûß âÕÑè ÔÞèÔ. ÐÕã.

èÒâ, ÕÞÔ âÝ mozblog – ÔÐÝ ÔÕÐ ÙÕéÙâ?

ÜÐ. äÐç.

Back

Blog is back, following arcane technical difficulties as corky.net upgraded to Debian.

DB files are a bitch.
