Trying Mozblog

OK, I seem to have mozblog working (I just set the wrong URL for the RPC server).

Oh,
here’s something cool – I was annoyed that it didn’t have a link button in
it’s WYSIWYG editing mode, but I discovered that if you highlight some text
and drag a link from the top at it, the selection becomes a link.

To understand what I’m talking about, you probably need to see their documentation.

Does this work with the current URL? Let’s see… Yep.
Cool. Now let’s try and publish…

Trying Blogbuddy

This is a test of posting from blogbuddy.
I also found a cool-looking Mozilla add-on called mozblog, but it’s rather buggy.

Ye Gods! Plugging my own

Ye Gods! Plugging my own name into Google’s image search, I discovered there’s a comic with my name on it: Dotan, the Zionist Boy. He even looks like me when I was young…

This is obviously a comics link. How could I miss that?

Mozilla Rant & Manila UI

Some new features in EditThisPage, like an HTML text edit box
that works only in IE, but seems like pure JavaScript.

Cool.
Except that it doesn’t seem to support the most simple HTML element
I always find myself typing, the P tag.

Like This.

Oh, it lets you put in paragraphes, under the “Alignment…” menu.

Anyway, one feature Manilla doesn’t have is easily changing a story into the Front Page. Or seeing where the Front Page went to when
you change it.
So Here’s a link to my Mozilla Rant.

Dotan’s New Toy…

My lame, never updated page is here: http://corky.net/dotan.

Why would someone who never bothers updating a page want an “editThisPage” page? Well, Covetousness, I guess. Toys. Gotta have ’em. Some guys go for graphic accelerators and speakers, me I like
web toys, scripting languages, and text editors.

Where’s the spellchecker?

Some links

(most of these are repeated on the sidebar)

If you click any link here, it should be this one. If you read Hebrew, go here (for fiction) or here (for opinions and discusion about everything non-technological). Both sites use PHP to rock their world.

Ok, let’s check this page out…

Does Frontier still mangle Hebrew Text like it used to?

îúáøø ùëï? àå àåìé ùìà?

Yes, it does.
