My robot was programmed and ready to go. Hell, if I programmed it to randomly shout “Gimmie buffs!” it would probably pass the turing test. Satisfied, I sat it in front of the keyboard, made sure my character had at least fifty melons in his backpack, and then trudged off to leave it alone for the night.

Superhero Game Designs
Through
this thread on the Forge forums, I came across two indie/homemade superhero RPGs: Capes & Cowls (shudder; I have designs for something with a very similar name) and Golden Age Guardians (a working title…). Both games move away from the “traditional” point-based, system-heavy design common to most superhero games, going much further than the classic Powergame.
Grown-up Games
משחקים של גדולים is an article by Efrat Shalom about grownups who play party games – board games, mostly, but there’s also a bit there about roleplaying games, in a few paragraphs based on an interview she conducted with me. No, that’s not exactly what I said, but can understand why she put things like she did.
Roleplaying games would be much easier to explain if they didn’t have that damn GM in the middle.
