An explanation of the Korean writing system, Hanguel, from the Mozilla Korean localization site. Proclaimed in 1446 by King Sejong, Hangul is a clever and elegantly designed alphabet, very different from Chinese, that was aimed at encouraging literacy among the common people.

Assaf Inbari Online

Ijon links to Assaf Inbari‘s site – a young Hebrew polemicist. I liked Inbari’s short stories, way back when he still wrote them. Most of the material on the site is in Hebrew, and all of it is heavy reading, Saturday supplement sort of stuff.

wbOutliner

webOutliner is a remarkably cool little thingamajig for editing text outlines online. It can load files in OPML and RSS (both the RDF and the 2.0 varieties) formats. The UI is very similar to Userland‘s products (Radio, Frontier, etc.)
