Sleuth like it’s 2002

Oddly, I stumbled across this by randomly pecking at my browser history. I’d followed some link to this blog from Soshana Forbes, I think. But scrolling down, I found this, the result of this and a follow-up to this. Apparently, Nana readers are now playing the game the IRPPS forum has been playing way back when. Except they aren’t really putting too much effort into this, because it’s not really difficult (or interesting) to answer a question that’s already been answered.
Having a whole blog that asks who he is is impressive. Or at least, it might be, if it had more than two posts (then, actually, it would be scary).

I suspect DJ_Froyke has (in addition to a mediocre taste in music, which is exposed when googling his nick) is one of Bildad’s fake identities as well. Might explain his short blog.

It’s obvious that the real Bildad will be revealed as soon as he leaves to London (so I’ve heard, maybe to another place). It’s surely someone of the immediate suspects.

The “Owww” entry is linking to http://www.html

Fix fix.

Sleuthwise, it took ppl a long time to get to my Bildad on roleplay.org.il, which far predates any Nana mockery of said character (it was the first Bildad on the web, I checked before I started, unlike some other people, even though I remember giving people express permission to play him after I stopped), which is strange if you take into account the number of people I told about my forum days of glory in the past couple of years.

Funny thing about it is that I now get ping from by Elad Shlomo, whom I have not talked to in years, complaining that it is my fault that he gets MATRIDOT TELEFONIYOT (hi, Jane).

BTW, Dotan, you are scifi dude. Sleuth to find out who this Bildad is:

If it was a contest you are supposed to have the details of this guy, and he sure as hell isn’t me.

Bildad’s of the world, unite, I say.

Israel Levin

P.S. London is me, I think. I went there a month and a half ago (well, to Oxford, really, but I visited London), but now I am back.

I.

Oww to /www.html ? No it isn’t. Where? Not on my end. I suspect defective parsers somewhere.
Sent you the SF contest Bildad’s name.
Jane wants to phone you to confirm.

To confirm what?

That I am the Bildad of the blue forum? Here, I confirm. It is I. That I am the Bildad of Nana? How can I morally confirm or deny something like that? I know how it is to try and remain anonymous, I did it there for a while, remember? I still remember the people with the “I am not Bildad” stickers at IGOR.

And Owww links to http://www.html because of a Greasemonkey script (nomiddleman) that mistook the original link for a redirect. Pardon my monkey.

And recap already!

I.

That sounds like doubletalk there, about the Nana.
Blood I am spitting on making the recap, to ensure that once I finish lavishing attention on any expository burp from an NPC, I don’t fall into the trap of summing up the action with “yeah, and then they go to a lighthouse and Jack hits stuff”.
God, I keep catching myself wanting to call him “Dave”. Or “Bo’s character”.

Good for you with the recap, man. You know what they say: hard in recap, easy in session.

Also, like I told Bo, his claim for fame on accord of his character being all charactery and shocked when he killed a guy gets thinner by the session. HALEVAI AL KULANU.

I.
